Bathing and Grooming Space
Typically, we bring everything needed to complete a professional-quality groom. Some people are concerned by the mess that the fur will make in their home but in most cases, there is a minimal amount of mess that can easily be contained and vacuumed.
A well-lit and adequately spacious area where we can set up our table is required. The area must also be free from distractions and should be near an available outlet, sink, or bathtub (not a shower). We do not groom outdoors to avoid disruptions and unsuitable weather conditions.
When Do I Need to Start Grooming My Puppy?
Grooming your puppy as early as possible allows them to have a much more pleasurable experience. Most puppies should begin their grooming experience at about 3-4 months old or after receiving their required vaccinations.
Giving your puppy his or her first bath and professional grooming will be a fun and stress-free experience. This will lead to a lifetime of good behavior while they are with the groomer.
In-Home Grooming Is Best Suited For
In-Home grooming is the best option for:
Smaller Dogs
Old Dogs
New Puppies
Dogs That Don’t Do Well in Salons
Dogs With Separation Anxiety
Dogs and Owners Who Prefer to Stay in Their Homes
Dogs With Special Needs
Pet Parents Who Like to Be Present While Their Pup Is Getting Groomed
In-Home grooming provides transparency that no other method of pet grooming can offer. This is particularly comforting for families who may have had a negative experience taking their dogs away from home.

Who Is In-Home Grooming Not For?
In-Home grooming can be a little more difficult and messier for bigger dogs that shed. It is not practical for us to carry a table suited for larger-sized breeds. Talk with your house call groomer to see if your dog can be groomed at home.
In-Home grooming is also not ideal for owners who don’t have a sink or bathtub large enough. It is also not advisable for homes full of distractions and without adequate lighting because the groomer cannot safely complete the service.
